Cool Down™ improves the performance of coolant and is safe for all radiator systems.

It's can be used in all vehicle applications. The Cool Down product reduces engine temperature up to 10°C! Cool Down increases coolant flow for better heat transfer, while lubricating all vital components.

One bottle treats cooling systems of 12-20 Litres. For straight water applications, we recommend adding 50% more Cool Down. Diesel applications require twice the normal amount of our coolant additive.

Treatments last for one year or 48,000km, whichever comes first. We do suggest changing your coolant every 2 years. When using as a diesel coolant additive, we recommend using twice the suggested amount for full protection of wet sleeve cylinder liners.

Can you mix Cool Down™ with antifreeze?

Yes, you can. Cool Down works great with antifreeze. It is formulated for use with today’s OAT and HOAT-formula engine coolants. We recommend changing your coolant every 2 years.

How do I use Cool Down™?
Just open the bottle and add the contents straight into the radiator or coolant reservoir. If you have access to a radiator cap, pouring Cool Down directly into the radiator is the preferred method. One bottle will treat cooling systems of 12-20 litres.

1. COOL THE ENGINE: Make sure the engine is cool before removing the radiator cap

2. ADD COOL DOWN: Pour Cool Down into the radiator per the application directions listed below.

3. START THE ENGINE: Turn on the engine and set the heater to high.

4. RUN FOR 10 MINUTES: Let the engine run for 10 minutes to circulate Cool Down.

5. REMINDER: Keep at least 15% antifreeze in the cooling system for street-driven vehicles with A/C.

APPLICATIONS & RATIOS:

Passenger Vehicles (12–20 Litres):
One bottle (473 mL) treats 12–20 litres of coolant. For systems over 20 litres, add 30 mL of Cool Down per additional litre.

Straight Water Applications:
For full corrosion protection, add 50% more Cool Down. Use reverse osmosis water labelled “Purified Drinking Water” for best results.

Diesel Engines:
Use double the recommended amount to protect wet sleeve cylinder liners.

Powersports Engines:
Use 60 mL per litre of coolant.

Treatment Frequency: Add one bottle every 12 months or 48,000 km—whichever comes first. After five consecutive years, drain, flush, and refill the cooling system.

EFFICIENT EXCHANGE

VP Cool Down improves heat transfer by reducing surface tension within the cooling system. This promotes more efficient thermal exchange, accelerating heat dissipation from engine components under sustained load.

Stabilise Temps

By enhancing coolant flow and minimising hot spots, Cool Down supports consistent cylinder head and block temperatures. The formula is effective across a wide range of engine architectures, including high-compression and forced induction systems.

Corrosion Protection

In addition to thermal benefits, VP Cool Down contains corrosion inhibitors that protect aluminium, magnesium, cast iron, and copper alloys. The formulation ensures system longevity without compromising flow characteristics.
