MS109 REG

$223.00
Size 19 Litres

Australia’s top selling drag racing fuel. A highly oxygenated Unleaded fuel that produces more power and consistency than any other homologated unleaded fuel. It has powered more sportsman wins than any other racing fuel in Australia.

Recommended for applications with up to 25 lbs of boost and naturally aspirated engines with compression ratios up to 15:1.

MS109 Reg works extremely well in a wide array of applications, including circuit, drift and motorcycle.

HIGHLY OXYGENATED FUEL
tuning info
Highly Oxygenated Fuel Requires an Increase in Fuel Volume.
Increase jet size or injector flow.
What is Oxygen Content?
Oxygen content refers to the amount of oxygen within the fuel itself. Higher oxygen content allows more complete combustion, increasing power potential while requiring additional fuel delivery to prevent lean conditions.
STOICHIOMETRIC AFR
13.36:1
98 RON Petrol

MS109

Requires More Fuel Volume Than Standard Petrol
Tuning Info
Lower stoichiometric AFR requires increased fuel delivery.
Do not rely on standard petrol AFR targets.
Use lambda for accurate tuning across different fuels.
What is Stoichiometric Air-Fuel Ratio?
The stoichiometric air-fuel ratio defines the ideal mixture for complete combustion. Different fuels require different ratios, meaning fuel delivery must be adjusted during tuning to maintain correct combustion and performance.
SPECIFIC GRAVITY
0.720
0.70 Specific Gravity Comparison 0.80
MS109 0.720
Pump 98 0.750
More Fuel Volume Required
MS109 is less dense than pump 98, so it must be run richer.
Tuning Info
Specific gravity affects how much fuel mass is delivered.
Adjust fueling when switching fuels.
What is Specific Gravity?
Specific gravity measures the density of the fuel relative to water. It determines how much fuel mass is delivered for a given volume. Lower density fuels deliver less fuel mass per volume, which can cause a lean condition if not corrected.
Reid Vapour Pressure
6.03 PSI
MODERATE FUEL VOLATILITY
tuning info
Balanced vapour pressure supports consistent fuel behaviour.
Provides stable delivery across varying temperatures.
Always verify calibration under real operating conditions.
What is Reid Vapour Pressure?

RVP Measures the volatility of a fuel and how readily it evaporates at a given temperature.

In forced induction applications, a lower RVP resists vaporisation under boost, reducing the risk of vapour lock. Naturally aspirated engines benefit from a higher RVP, where easier vapourisation improves atomisation and throttle response.
