CR99 is an unleaded high-octane gasoline. Its higher-octane rating will allow for more timing and boost compared to Premium pump gas. VP CR99 can be used in race vehicles both old and new. It can also be used in a wide array of applications such as circuit, drag, motorcycles, karts, and other smaller engine vehicles.

VP CR99 is the perfect option for racers wanting cost-effective racing fuel. Ethanol Free, VP CR99 is proven to be a suitable replacement for historic applications previously running AVGAS. Proven to make more power and offer more protection than European 102 fuels.

MODERATELY OXYGENATED FUEL
tuning info
Moderate oxygen content improves combustion efficiency and throttle response.
May require slight increase in fuel delivery compared to standard petrol.
Always verify calibration using AFR or lambda targets.
What is Oxygen Content?
Oxygen content refers to the amount of oxygen within the fuel itself. Higher oxygen content allows more complete combustion, increasing power potential while requiring additional fuel delivery to prevent lean conditions.
STOICHIOMETRIC AFR
14.39:1

Requires Slightly More Fuel Volume Than Standard Petrol
Tuning Info
Stoichiometric AFR is lower than standard petrol, so additional fuel delivery is required.
Moderate oxygen content may require slight enrichment under load.
Always verify calibration with proper AFR or lambda tuning methods.
What is Stoichiometric Air-Fuel Ratio?
The stoichiometric air-fuel ratio defines the ideal mixture for complete combustion. Different fuels require different ratios, meaning fuel delivery must be adjusted during tuning to maintain correct combustion and performance.
SPECIFIC GRAVITY
0.712
0.70 Specific Gravity Comparison 0.80
CR99 0.712
Pump 98 0.750
CR99 is less dense than pump fuel, requiring increased fuel volume.
Tuning Info
Lower density means less fuel mass per volume.
Increase fuel delivery to maintain proper AFR.
What is Specific Gravity?
Specific gravity measures the density of the fuel relative to water. It determines how much fuel mass is delivered for a given volume. Lower density fuels deliver less fuel mass per volume, which can cause a lean condition if not corrected.
Reid Vapour Pressure
6.1 PSI
MODERATE FUEL VOLATILITY
tuning info
Balanced vapour pressure supports stable fuel delivery.
Helps reduce excessive vapour formation under heat.
Verify calibration based on temperature and operating conditions.
What is Reid Vapour Pressure?

RVP Measures the volatility of a fuel and how readily it evaporates at a given temperature.

In forced induction applications, a lower RVP resists vaporisation under boost, reducing the risk of vapour lock. Naturally aspirated engines benefit from a higher RVP, where easier vapourisation improves atomisation and throttle response.
